Good morning! Recently I was called as the 2nd counselor in the Young Women’s program (the girls age 11-18) at church. So, you might see a lot more young women inspired crafts now on the blog. ha! ;) Anyways, it’s been a lot of fun. I work mostly with the younger girls ages 11-13, and they are fabulous! One of them is my amazing daughter! :) I love spending time with them. Recently at our Personal Progress night we were talking about why we work on our personal progress goals & why we say the YW theme each week. It all leads us to the temple. So, I made these cute DIY temple necklaces that they could wear to remind them of their goal to go to the temple.

Last week was crazy! We went to Texas to pick up my younger two from my parents. I attended day camp with my Cub Scout, and then helped with Youth Conference with my older two. So I didn’t have time to sit down & write up a feature post. I will this week for sure. In the meantime check out one of my favorite posts ~ 15+ Things to do This Summer! Good morning! How was your Father’s Day weekend? Fabulous, I hope! :) Ours was busy! As you might of heard, the Arkansas River flooded a few weeks ago. We were helping with some of the clean up. It was a mess. It makes me so grateful for what I have. I couldn’t imagine loosing everything. My heart & prayers go out to all of those families that were affected. Good morning! Father’s Day is this weekend! Eek! Time is flying! Seems like yesterday that it was Mother’s Day! I wanted to pop on really quick & share what we are doing this year for all the dads in our church congregation. In our religion temples are super important. You can find out more about temples here. Temples are where families can be sealed together forever. So, we thought it would be cute to make these Temple Tie Tacks for all the dads. You could also easily personalized these with a heart, picture or just some cute scrapbook paper instead. Let me show you how easy these are to make!

Good morning! How is your summer going? Ours has been quiet! ha! My little kiddos are gone this week visiting their grandparents, and my 2nd oldest daughter was at Girl’s Camp all last week! My older three are busy with football, school & work. So, it’s been too quiet! ha! I did want to pop on here really quick to share this cute Be a Light Lantern idea with you. Good morning! It’s summer time! Yay! Annnnd one of our favorite places to go when the kiddos aren’t in school is Pet Supplies Plus. Who doesn’t love a trip to the pet store? ;) We are actually there quite often! We have two sweet kitties who love for us to go there, too! ha! We always save a bunch, and the workers are always so nice & helpful. Last week they even ask to if they could carry my things to the car. :) Today I am excited to share this cute Cat Food Label with you that we made for our cat food storage container & a cute idea for their feed bowls, too.
