Our family loved both Despicable Me & Despicable Me 2. So you know that my kiddos were super excited when the Minions movie came out on DVD & Blu-Ray last week. We had it written on our calendar counting down the days. ha! As soon as it came out I ran out & snagged a copy. We love having family movie nights, & this DVD was perfect for the whole family. I decided to pair the new movie with some yummy minions ice cream. So keep reading to get this yummy & super easy recipe. For this recipe you will need:
- 32 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows (or ingredient add-in of your choice ~ nuts, chocolate chips, fruit, etc.)
- 6 drops of yellow food coloring
In a large bowl pour in your heavy whipping cream. Whip until nice & fluffy.
Stir in sweetened condensed milk, marshmallows & food coloring. Stir until combined.
Pour into a 9x13 baking pan. Cover & freeze 4-6 hours.
*Note* This recipe will make two 9x13 pans of ice cream.
When you are ready for your #MinionsMovieNight simply lay out some fun toppings.
Annnd then let your family & friends get crazy & creative! ha! ;)
Now it's time to settle in & watch some funny minion antics while we eat our ice cream.
