This candy corn banner post was first seen on the Canvas Corp blog. I received supplies to make this project from Canvas Corp. This post may contain affiliate links.
Good morning! Before I take off for the weekend I’d love to share this easy Burlap Candy Corn Banner with you! It only takes a few minutes to put this fun project together, & this banner would look so cute at your Halloween party! I have TWO parties to go to today! ha! So let’s get started!
You’ll need a few supplies:
- Canvas Corp 12×12 burlap sheet (orange)
- Tattered Angels High Impact Paint (white & yellow)
- Canvas Corp cord (black)
- Mini Clothespins (orange, yellow, black & white)
- paint brushes
- scissors
- pencil
- scrap paper
First, make a simple candy corn pattern on scratch paper and then cut 6 candy corn shapes from the orange burlap. I used my Silhouette to do this. You could easily freehand a pattern, too.
Paint the tips of each of the shapes with the white paint. This paint is great for painting on burlap and other textured surfaces.
Paint the bottom of the candy corns with the yellow paint.
Let the candy corn dry completely.
Clip the candy corn to a black cord with mini clothespins. That’s it! All done!
