Meet Sophie from Ambient Things. I'm a community gardener, a gleaner of materials, and a kung fu film enthusiast.
My photography strives to permeate thresholds. I photograph food so you can almost smell the aromas and hear the conversation, and I photograph people so that you can very nearly read their minds. Recently I've turned from doing more commercial work to pursue a heartfelt calling through my photography and to also enjoy my love of sewing and fiber arts.
My work brings to you a warmth of the details of life as seen through my eyes. I have produced photographs, greeting cards, clothing, quivers for craft tools, soaps, and items for the home, to name a few.
