Hot Cocoa Neighbor Gift Idea {tutorial}

I love the holiday season! One way our family spreads love & holiday cheer is by making handmade gifts for our neighbors & friends. Let me show you how easy this Hot Cocoa Neighbor Gift Idea was to put together with a little help from American Greetings.

American Greeting is having fun this holiday season. They are making it easy for people to "Elf" their friends, neighbors, coworkers, favorite teachers & family. You may wonder what “Elfing” is! Well, let me tell you. ;) It’s creating a small gift using a festive bag or small basket filling it with M&M’s or other holiday treats, an American Greetings card or even this hot cocoa gift jar, & then leaving the gift on a neighbor's porch or on a teacher’s desk with a cute printable. You can print out this cute “You’ve Been Elfed” tag right {HERE}! You can also find a poem to go along with it & an “I’ve Been Elfed” hang tag to hang on their door, too.

Let It Snow Sign + 50+ Snow Day Activities

This post is brought to you by Life Storage.

Good morning! Winter is finally here. We were still eating dinner outside on our fabulous farmhouse picnic table last week, but I know soon (very, very soon) everything winter will be here in full force. That means snow! Yay! I grew up in Texas, & we didn’t see snow very often at all. When we moved to Northwest Arkansas (& our first winter rolled around) we fell in love with the snow. It is so beautiful & magical! Buuuuut after about the first week of being snowed in that all changed. A serious case of cabin fever had set in, so we had to come up with some fun ways to spend our snow days quickly. Over on the Life Storage blog I am sharing this huge DIY Let It Snow Sign along with 50+ Snow Day activities that have kept us sane over the years.
