Hello there! I am so excited to partner with some of my favorite bloggers to bring you a fun blog hop full of DIY Family Fun with Cricut. Eek! I know many of us are having lots of extra family time right now (which I love!). Buuuuut sometimes you need a little help to fill the time. Our family has been playing tons of games, and these easy to make Lawn Dice are the perfect thing to add to your game nights especially with the weather being so nice right now. Let’s get started! Oh and you’ll want to scroll down to the bottom of this post to see all the fun ideas from the other bloggers. :)

For this project you will need:
wood blocks
sandpaper and sander
wood stain or paint
vinyl dots (You can get the Design Space file here.)
Cricut Joy
Cricut Joy™ StandardGrip Mat, 4.5" x 12"

First, we cut the blocks. We just used a 4x4 untreated post and cut it into cubes. You make as many as you want. ;) I started out with 4. I might make more later, so more people can play! Next you’ll want to sand your blocks really well. Pay special attention to the edges. Then I cut out my vinyl dots with my Cricut Joy.

You can read all about the Cricut Joy & why I love this machine so much here.

OK, let me walk you through the steps in Design Space.
Open up the design & click make it. I used vinyl scraps for this project so I selected on mat.

Adjust the material size and then click continue.

Set your material to premium vinyl and then load your material.

Your Joy kind of does this all on it’s own. ;)

After everything is loaded click go. :)

Now sit back & watch your little machine get to work.

After I stained my wood blocks & let them dry, I applied the vinyl dots. That’s it! So easy & CUTE!
