Hello there! Grilling season is upon us! Yay! Our family loves throwing parties for family & friends. I love it even better when the food is easy to put together, so I can focus on my family & friends & not the food. :) That is why I love the brand new Tyson® Individually Frozen Thin Sliced Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts. These chicken breast are thin sliced & can be cooked from frozen, so they make party prep so easy! I used them in our Happy Camper party recently. So keep reading for a yummy recipe, game ideas, crafts & printables so you can throw a Happy Camper party, too. Let’s get started! :)
Nothing says camping more than foil dinners & s’mores! So the menu was super easy to put together for this party! ha! For the party set up I laid out 10 different foil dinner topping choices. I let my guest pick & choose what they wanted to put in their foil dinners along with the Tyson Chicken Breasts.
For a Santa Fe foil dinner you can add chicken breast, corn, black beans, sliced peppers & a little bit of cheese. You could also make a broccoli, cheese & chicken breast foil dinner, or you can stuff your foil dinner with chicken breast, onions & potatoes for a meat & potatoes dinner.

I had each of my guest grab a plate & a piece of foil. They loaded up on all the toppings they wanted, & then they headed out to the grill. It’s so awesome that you don’t have to thaw these chicken breasts. I was able to just grab the bag out the freezer when we were ready for it. It was so super convenient!
These all natural chicken breasts are frozen individually so you can use only what you need & then throw the rest back in the freezer for another time. Awesome! Since these chicken breasts are thin cut they cook in less than 30 minutes! That is so awesome when you have a bunch of hungry guests! ha! Also, another party tip ~ especially when cooking meat ~ make sure you have a cooking thermometer handy! With chicken you won’t be able to tell when it’s done just by looking at the color. You’ll need to check the internal temperature before serving to make sure it’s done all the way! Alright ~ so here is example of what one of the foil dinners looked like right before we sealed it up to cook.
Be sure to roll the ends of the foil up & seal the foil along the top. You want to make sure your foil dinner is closed tightly, so all the heat stays inside the foil. This is how your dinner cooks. Also, before cooking be sure to season your dinner. We love using lemon pepper seasoning or you can just season with salt & pepper. It’s up to you! :)
Cook on a hot grill for about 25 minutes or so until the chicken breast’s internal temperature reaches 165° Fahrenheit.
While your foil dinners are cooking. It’s a good time to play some games! Eek!
A Nature Scavenger Hunt is always a hit with my kiddos!
You can print this nature scavenger hunt label right {HERE} or right click & save the image below. I printed it off onto white sticker paper & then stuck the label on a brown paper sack. Easy!
Another fun game is bean bag toss. These are just burlap bags I found at the craft store. I filled them with beans & then tied them off.
We took turns throwing them into the bucket. Whoever gets the most bean bags into the bucket wins.
Camp crafts are always fun to do, too! This is a super simple one. Slice a branch into small circles. At the party let the kiddos decorate them with markers or paint pens. If you sliced them even thinner you could drill a hole in the top & hang them on a leather string as a necklace. You could also string several along some twine & make a nature garland.
After a few games & crafts….it was time to eat! Yum!
Then as a dessert & party favor we make these s’more party bags! Each mini brown paper sack has some chocolate, graham crackers & a couple of marshmallows inside. Yum!
