Good morning! How are you? Awesome, I hope. :) Speaking of mornings ~ mornings can get pretty hectic for our family! ha! How about your’s? With 5 kiddos, a hubby & myself going all different directions every morning it can get kind of crazy making sure all of us have had a nutritious breakfast. That’s why we were super excited to join the Carnation Breakfast Essentials® 7-Day Breakfast Challenge. I’ll tell you more about that in just a bit! I’m also going to share this yummy & so easy Vanilla Blueberry Breakfast Pops recipe made with Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder. So let’s get started!
Our typical morning looks like this ~ my oldest two get up at 5:30 am. They attend an early morning church class before school. So they are both up & at ‘em early (way earlier than me!). So I try to always have some easy & nutritious breakfast foods ready for them. I love things they can just grab in a hurry. FYI >>> The Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Ready-to-Drink Bottles are perfect for this! After they head out the door at 6:20, it’s time to get my younger three kiddos up. It can be a challenge to get them up & eating! I have to admit we are not all happy campers in the morning! ha!
One of the things that helps prevent an early morning meltdown is by having breakfast already prepared & to serve it a fun way. That is where these yummy Vanilla Blueberry Breakfast Pops come in! My kiddos seem to really love having “popsicles” for breakfast! So let’s get to the recipe.
You will only need three ingredients to make these!
- 2 packets Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Vanilla Powder
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, washed
- 2 cups 1% milk
You can always change these ingredients up. Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Chocolate Powder is great with bananas or try Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Strawberry Powder with fresh strawberries! I’ll share another one of our favorite combos in just a bit! Stay tuned! :)
First, you will mix the powder & milk together in a bowl.
Then you’ll stir in some blueberries. Yum!
Next, you will pour your mixture into popsicle molds.
Freeze for 4 to 6 hours. That’s it!
Now let’s get to version #2. Cut up 1/2 a banana & a few fresh strawberries.
Mix powder & milk, stir in fruit & then fill your popsicle molds.
Stick these guys in the freezer, too!
Now you’ll have a quick, nutritious & yummy breakfast that your family will love!
