This post is brought to you by Make It: Fun® Crafts.
Hello! It’s Friday! I am so ready for the weekend. This week has been a little bit crazy! I think having a holiday on Monday threw me off! ha! How about you? Today I am so excited to be joining up with Make It: Fun® Crafts to bring you this easy Hello Sign tutorial made with Make It: Fun® Project Bricks.
This month’s project was all about these fun Make It: Fun® Project Bricks. You can find them in three colors: brick red, white & cream. My kiddos went nuts over these bricks! ha! Right now on our kitchen table we have the workings of a castle, a house, an igloo & a watchtower! I’ll post some pictures on instagram when they are done! ;)
Project Bricks can be assembled any way you want. Get creative! You can cut them to any size you want, change them into different shapes by rolling or pinching & even paint them different colors. You can also combine them with other craft supplies like a craft sticks, moss or figurines to create models that are perfect for school projects or create something just for fun. You can also use them for a little bit of home décor like I did!
Check out this site for some amazing ideas! I love the pyramid! Also, be sure to follow the hashtag #makeitfuncrafts over the next week to see some fun projects from the Make It Fun Team.
For this project you will need:
60-70 Make It: Fun® Project Bricks
Design It:® Foam Cutter
shadow box
glue
paper
this file from Silhouette
hot glue gun & glue
So let’s get started!
First, I filled my shadow box with the foam bricks. I put a thin line of glue underneath.
I used this handy foam cutter to trim my bricks as needed.
So just glue the foam bricks down staggered like you would real bricks.
It won’t take long to fill in the entire space. Let dry.
Then I cut out the word hello using cardstock & my Silhouette. I hot glued it in place.
All done! I love how it has that subway tile vibe! ;)
This sign could easy be personalized with any saying or color to match your home.
