Hello! If you follow me on instagram or twitter you probably heard that I had a pretty awesome weekend. I was able to get together with a group of amazing bloggers & attend Miranda Lambert’s Platinum Tour concert for a fun girl’s night out! Eek! So exciting! :) Crystal Light is sponsoring Miranda’s tour, & invited us to attend. Crystal Light also challenged us to come up with a few low calorie drinks to go along with our girl’s night out, because we all know that low calories rock, right? ;) So today I am excited to share not one but TWO yummy drink recipes with you ~ a raspberry lemonade slushie & a strawberry lemonade float. Both of these would be perfect for your next girl’s night out. Plus I have some fun concert pictures to share of me & Miranda. ;) So keep reading!
I love these Crystal Light 2 quart packets. They come in some many fun flavors! I think raspberry lemonade is my favorite though! It’s perfect for this recipe. (You can find these at Walmart in the drink aisle.) Now let’s get to the recipe! :)
Mix a big pitcher of Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade following packaging directions. Using ice cube trays fill 2 trays with Raspberry Lemonade & put in the freezer. Put the rest of the Raspberry Lemonade in the refrigerator to chill. After 4-6 hours put the following ingredients in a blender.
2 cups Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade
2 cups fresh raspberries
3 cups Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade ice cubes
Blend for a minute or so on high. Pour into cups & serve immediately. Yum! :)
This next recipe is super simple & delicious! It is the perfect treat after a long day. It’s cool, refreshing & oh so yummy. :)
For this recipe I used the Crystal Light Strawberry Lemonade Liquid Drink Mix. I love these little liquid drink mix bottles. You can just drop them in your bag & add it to your cold water bottle for a yummy & low calorie drink on the go. They’re awesome! :)
Crystal Light Strawberry Lemonade Liquid Drink Mix, 1.62 oz
strawberry lemonade gelato
cold water
Mix the Crystal Light Strawberry Lemonade & ice cold water in a large mug according to package directions & stir. Spoon a scoop or two of strawberry lemonade gelato on top. Enjoy! :)
Before the concert we were able to do a quick meet & greet with Miranda back stage. Pretty exciting! She seemed really sweet for the minute or two that I got to meet her. :)
She even signed a copy of her album for me!
The concert was held in the new Walmart AMP. It’s our brand new outdoor concert venue. It’s super nice! Here’s a few blurry pictures of the concert! ha! You’ll just have to take my word on it ~ it had lots of lights, music, videos & it was loud! Miranda really put on a good show!
