Hello there! Who has kiddos that have been hit hard with the slime craze? I know I’m not the only one with kiddos who love slime. Am I right? ha! My youngest daughter is obsessed. She has literally tried & tested TONS of different slime recipes over the summer. Annnnd we *think* we’ve found a winner with this Crunchy Slime recipe. Yay! She has also been wanting to try out making video tutorials of her creations. Annnnnd with the all new JOANN app we were able to bring her love of slime & video making together. Let me show you what we did! Annnd I’ll be sharing this slime recipe with you as well. Let’s get started! :)
Before we get to that slime recipe….let me show you how easy it is to use the JOANN app to create your own fun videos & tutorials. You can also follow other crafters & get fun ideas for your next project! :) My daughter & I worked on this little video of our Crunchy Slime recipe! This is our first attempt at video making. So if we can do it, so can YOU! :)
After you create your video, head to the JOANN app. (You can download the app for iOS & for Android.) Create an account, & then using the JOANN app you’ll be able to upload your own video. Once your video is uploaded, you’ll be able to edit your video clip, add captions & even music! Let me show you how.
To add captions you simply click the Add Caption button, and then you’ll be able to type in whatever you’d like. You can also change the font, position & color as well.
Another fun feature of this app is that you are able to make shopping lists of the craft supplies you will need. As you are browsing the other tutorials & if you see one you want to try out, all you’ll need to do is simply click on the items you need to pick up for your next project, & then you’ll click add to shopping list.
Annnnnnd my favorite part!!! You can check out (& save!) fabulous JOANN coupons to use on your next shopping trip right in the app!
borax
hot water
room temperature water
Slime Ballz
white school glue
jumbo popsicle sticks
small bowls
measuring cups & spoons
food coloring
It usually takes between 3-5 tablespoons before the mixture starts turning into slime.
7. Kneed the slime with your hands until no longer sticky.
Be sure to check out the all new JOANN app, create videos & tutorials & then share them on your social channels. Remember you can find the app for both iOS and Android. Use the hashtag #handmadewithjoann, so we can all follow along! Let me know which projects you’d love to create next in the comments below. I’d love to hear! :)
