Good morning! Today I am excited to kick off a brand new series for this year (along with some of my favorite bloggers)! This year, once a month, we will all break out our Cricut Makers & using the same craft supply we will Create with Cricut! I hope you follow along! :) This month’s craft supply is FELT!
Since we are so close to the big game, I decided to make these super cute felt pennant banners.
For this project you will need:
felt pennant banners in red & black (I found these at Hobby Lobby.)
black felt
red felt
pink fabric cutting mat
Cricut Maker
rotary blade
spray adhesive
2 craft dowels
hot glue & glue gun
this cut file
I’ve bragged about this rotary blade before. It’s amazing! Especially if you love working with fabric.
You don’t need any type of backing. Just put your felt on the PINK fabric cutting mat & press go.
The rotary blade just cut right through the felt. No problems at all! :)
To attach my letters to the felt pennant banners, I just used spray adhesive.
I whip these pennant banners out in less than 15 minutes. I love cute & easy projects!
I attached each pennant banner to their own wooden dowel with hot glue. These would be fun to take to your next football game or used as décor in a sports themed bedroom or even in the classroom of your favorite teacher or as dorm room décor for your college student. There are so many possibilities, & you can easily customize these with your team’s colors!
Check out these other felt crafts with the Cricut Maker. Enjoy!
