Good morning! Cooler weather is coming! You know what that means….cool, starry nights, warm campfires with friends and s’mores! Have you jumped on the charcuterie board trend? I hadn’t yet, but I couldn’t resist making a fall inspired charcuterie board full of fun things to make the perfect s’more! Of course, I had to use my Cricut machine to customize my charcuterie board for just the right look for fall. Let me show you how to make a DIY S’more Charcuterie Board with Cricut! It was so quick & easy! :)
For this project you will need:
Cricut Maker 3 (or Cricut Explore Air 3)
Cricut Removeable Matte Patterned Vinyl (I used this one and this one.)
Cricut XL Scraper
Cricut StandardGrip cutting mat (green)
1X12 board cut to a square or wooden charger
sandpaper
stain or paint

I made two charcuterie boards to give you some ideas to get started. Buuuuut there are literally hundreds of different patterned vinyl options from Cricut from licensed characters to patterns to just about anything. Be sure to check out their selection when planning your next party. You can customize these boards to fit just about any occasion.
I also made these boards using two options. For the first one, I used this cute buffalo check patterned vinyl and a 1x12 cut to a square. I sanded my board and stained it. You could also paint it if you wanted. Another option is to visit your local craft store’s unfinished wood aisle. They’d have lots of wood plaques that could double as a charcuterie board. Anyways, I stained my board and then let it dry.
Next, you will cut your vinyl out. I made a large square for this one and a round circle for my other board. I loved using my Cricut Maker 3 for this! It’s so fancy! You can read more about this amazing machine and all it’s cool features right here. You could also use just about any other Cricut machine for this project as well. You just need a 12x12 cutting area.
Then I very easily weeded my vinyl! No tools required! haha! :)
Usually with vinyl you use transfer tape to apply it, but not in this situation. Since it is such a large area, air bubbles would be a huge problem with transfer tape. So instead, to apply this vinyl, I used an extra larger scraper tool. I carefully removed the vinyl from the backing paper.
Then starting on one end I worked toward the edge smoothing out any bubbles. The square was a whole lot easier to do than the circle. Just take your time! This vinyl is removable. So, it you get any air bubbles you can lift it back up and smooth it down again. It’s pretty forgiving. Slow & steady wins the race! :)
All done! Now the only thing left is to arrange your yummy s’more ingredients. On the round charcuterie board I went with a cookie theme instead of the normal graham crackers. For this one, I also used cookies & cream chocolate to go along with the cookie theme!
For the square charcuterie board, I went with the more tradition s’more ingredients. :)
