Good morning! I am so excited to take part in another Creative Crafts blog series. Annnnnd to be participating in the Christmas Edition is even more fun! :) With this crazy year we have been through, I am super excited to put all my focus & energy on my little family & the holidays coming up! One of my favorite parts of the holidays is the holiday crafting, and this cute DIY Christmas Sign would make the perfect Christmas craft. My sisters & I are actually making this craft over Zoom this Thanksgiving. haha! Isn’t that a sign of the times!? ;) Let me show you how easy it was to put together. :)

For this project you will need:
Cricut machine (Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker)
vinyl (red, black, green, red, yellow, blue)
transfer tape
wood plaque (or something similar…I found this one at Hobby Lobby)
this Design Space file
First, I cut out my vinyl using my Cricut machine. Weeded my vinyl, and then added some transfer tape on top.

Next, I applied my vinyl by removing the backing paper.

I put on the black electrical wire piece on first by putting it face down & gently rubbing the back. Then I gently pulled off the transfer tape in a diagonal direction leaving my design behind.

Then I added the colorful light bulbs. I just put the colors on randomly in a fun pattern. :)

I just love all of these fun colors!

The last piece I put on was the Merry Christmas Y’all. Notice how I over lapped the green bulb at the bottom.

Here’s my completed sign! I just love it! :)

This design would look super cute on a door hanging too! I might try that next! :)
